As a first freshener, Sunny's dam had her buck and doe twins eleven days early. One of those was Sunny, who spent her first month of life living in a dog pen in the living room. Nobody ever told Sunny that she was a preemie or that we were dubious about her survival, or if she heard it, she didn't listen. She got hold of the lambbar when she was almost too little to stand on her own and proceeded to get stronger and stronger every day. She is beautiful like Cindy, with strong rear leg angulation and a long, level top and rump. She also inherited the most valuable trait in Cindy's line - she's the sweetest, friendliest Alpine you could ever meet. Sunny might always been a little on the small side because she was about the size of a squirrel when she was born, but she doesn't let it keep her down.
